My name is Margaret Noble and I am an artist and art teacher at High Tech High. This website covers entry level explorations in creativity through the practice of computer programming. I have worked in digital technologies as an artist and teacher for several years but until now I have never written a program to make an artwork. Things have changed and I feel that it is imperative for me to explore this frontier to serve my students and my own artistic practice. Over time, I will be posting tutorials, models and other ideas tracked through the open source software, Processing.  As the overwhelming mass of media floods my exploration, I will aim to present things simply and often graphically on this site. I believe in breaking things down for my students and myself so the media intake is manageable – I like to work with building blocks.
